connect(interface_variable1, interface_variable2);
The "connect" statement is used in a coupled model to connect (link) the interface variables of the model to the interface of one of its sub-models, or to connect the interface of two sub-models.
Example 1:
connect(sub_models.Buffer.interface.Outflow, sub_models.FtoC.interface.Inflow);
The interface variable "Outflow" of the submodel "Buffer" is connected to the interface variable "Inflow" of the submodel "FtoC".
Example 2:
connect(interface.Inflow, sub_models.CtoF.interface.Inflow);
The interface variable "Inflow" of the submodel "CtoF" is connected to the "Inflow" interface variable of the coupled model.
